You live in a delicious world. 🙂
It’s true! And, I’m often on a diet in between. 😉
Lovely and hospitable! I think having beauty in the home is important because it sets the tone for all the time anyone’s in the house.
janet
You’re making me hungry here!
C’mon over! 🙂
yummy! looks delicious! (every time!)
Awwww. Thank you!
I’ve recently been working to get into better shape for some big hikes/backpacking trips I have planned this summer. Lots of running, lots of hiking, almost 20 lbs in the history books. But I swear, every time I stop by I feel like I put some of it back on.
Ha, ha. I cook lots of lo-cal healthy dishes too Jeff. Tonight it was cedar planked salmon and wilted super greens!
Have fun on your backpacking trips!
Yummy! And thank you!
oh my.. i imagine, it’d be wonderful to be your guest 🙂
Any time you’re in the neighborhood, KZ!

My mother made fabulous hush puppies. Thanks for the reminder 🙂
Interesting! Where did your mother grow up? Do you have her recipe?
Mom grew up in Philadelphia, Mississippi. I don’t think she had a recipe. She just threw it together. So did my Gulf coast aunts. We have a family of fabulous cooks and very few written down recipes.
Too bad. My mom and Grandmas hardly wrote anything down either. In fact, that’s why I started this blog. Do you live in Mississippi?
No, we’re in Florida. Both of my parents grew up in MS, but I’m from Alabama originally.
Well I’m sure you have some good southern recipes in your repertoire, then. 🙂
I have a fabulous carrot cake recipe – blue ribbon winner (though not by me)
Sounds delicious!
What a delicious and beautiful world!
Thank you, Angie!
I like what you see.
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I appreciate the time you took to stop by. May your day be filled with joy and peace.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thank you! Same to you.
